Scant, you are absolutely correct as to what the opening says. I think Tom's intention was to welcome anyone and everyone to the group when it first started a couple years ago.
But maybe with as many members we have now, we should narrow that down a little. I have loved this group and believed in what Tom was trying to do, as I have told him many times. But as it grows so big every day, it can get tiring to those members who came here to learn about messenger, and what it can and can't do, to constantly get emails that say "Hi" "how old are you", etc. I think people forget that when they send messages out like that, they are sending that message to over 2,000 people and not just one person they intended it for. Tom will have to make that type of decision as to what he wants this group to be about. I am a total believer is sharing information, and helping people, and I too learn things from this group. However, I do tend to by-pass those emails which are just chit chat, as that's what I do on messenger. lol Does anyone else have an opinion as to what they want this group to be? or why they joined this group in the first place??? I'd love to hear your opinions on it.
