I get the same thing. I think it has to do with the security settings on most computers blocking the yahoo chat rooms from starting things within the computer. I personally don't want any website starting up hardware on my computer without me giving it permission.
It does not actually stop the audio mixer from working though.. at least not on mine. My audio mixer starts up when I start up my computer. It's part of the start up processes that I allow via MSCONFIG. When I go in a room and get that message, I just click OK and then everything still works.
