A couple of things could be wrong here but most likely, your webcam
executable file (or drivers) is/are not where they can be found by YM.
Contact Logitech for assistance with fixing this issue. I had this same
type of issue with a Compaq webcam and it took uninstalling and reinstalling
the camera software and then moving copies of the right .exe files to the
C:\Windows\System32 folder and including the .exe files in the "Startup" of
the computer.

 WebCam problem

I have Messenmger version 8.a.0.209 and it will not "recognize" my camera.
On other Messaging programs, the camera works fine, but on Yahoo Messenger,
under "Preferences", "Webcam", the "Camera Selection"
and "Camera Source" are "greyed out"

If I attempt to start my Webcam. the computer "locks up" and I must use the
"Reset" button and restart the computer.

I have tried multiple Logitech cameras with this same result.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Lou.
