I'm running XP, with a pretty fast cable connection. In Yahoo Messenger, with the 320x240 frame size, and the speed/quality slider set in the middle, I get this:
Frame rate - 1.8 Bandwidth - 65 kbps Now this is just between my laptop and my desktop, operating peer-to- peer through the router. And the picture doesn't look so great. Is this pretty much standard for YM? Or is there a setting I'm missing somewhere. I have a lot more bandwidth available than that. Can I get it to use more? And if it matters, this is an old but very nice camera using a VFW driver (3Com HomeConnect).
