This kind of can be done with YM if you create alias user names/profiles
under your main ID. I know I have my main ID and one alias under it and
they both sign on whenever I sign on my main ID. I also have completely
separate Yahoo ID's that I use for various business uses and Yahoo Groups
that I do not have, nor do I want them signing on as part of my main chat
ID.

I haven't used AIM in so long since the last time I tried, it wanted to
download something that was considered spyware by many security programs
when I tried AIM about two years ago. Maybe now that AOHell has given up on
trying to hold people as ISP hostages with their email accounts, they might
not be trying to download spyware with their programs either. One day I'll
try AIM again. Does it have all the features that YM has?

Subject: [Y!M] link screen names

I don't know if this idea has been mentioned or not. i didn't find anything
when i did a search on the post. I think having the ability to link all your
screen names so that all screen names will be online at once is a good idea.
At least for those who have multiple screen names and yahoo accounts. I got
the idea from AIM messenger in which you can link all your accounts together
and be online all at once instead of just signing out of messenger and
switching screen names.
