YM9 is still in Beta (testing phase). It's barely going to work as it should, much less with plug-ins.
My advice is to go back to a version that worked for you and wait for YM9 to get out of Beta... unless you don't mind being the guinea pig. Someone has to do the testing but whenever I Beta test a new program, I don't try to add plug-ins that were designed prior to the Beta program existing and I also don't expect the program to work very well in the initial parts of the Beta testing program. I've Beta tested at least a dozen programs over the years but I don't think I'd ever Beta test a Yahoo program since their customer service stinks (another word is more appropriate but not list friendly... lol). I would only Beta test for a company that has decent customer service to work through any problems that may develop. I even Beta tested the Mozy program that I promote in my signature and they had tons of problems at first but now it works GREAT. (and yes, I have just installed the most current version to see if it fixes this particular issue) (And, I apologize if this topic has been touched on already - a lot of posts to weed through) Well, woo hoo, Beta 9 looks 'pretty' and all the features seem to be available and fun little options make it different than previous versions. Here's the thing, I pay for LAUNCHCast Plus. I use it over 12 hours a day working (at home and work). I love the service. Within messenger I can no longer access any additional stations from the pull up/drop down "stations" button within the plug-in. The only "clickable" buttons are the three starting stations on the plug-in window. If you click on the "stations" button, the menu comes up but NONE of the stations there are "clickable" links... not even "My Station". So, before you post your theories, I want you to know what I have tried to do to remedy this (which leads me to believe it is a program issue). I have uninstalled and reinstalled Messenger itself (several times, and on about 5 different computers - on different networks) I have closed out all plug-ins and reloaded them I have cleared out cache and temp files I have rebooted multiple times (as I said, done this on numerous computers so that I am sure it isn't simply a computer issue) I am running current java, etc. I have contacted customer service, and really no help... they just tell me to do the basic stuff that I explain to them I have already done numerous times (I think it is a robot answering "generically") I have filled out the online "report an issue" form several times and I get the above mentioned useless jargon. Any ideas? (I don't think I forgot anything... let me know! THANKS A MILLION!) No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
