I think there are some actual employees of Yahoo that belong to this group but I don't think they are the employees that work in the Yahoo Messenger department so I'm not sure anyone in this group would have any definitive information as to when Yahoo plans to do anything... I'm not sure Yahoo even knows when they plan to do anything. ;-)
But since there are literally millions of profiles out there, I would suspect they are working on some way to integrate the flickr.com photo site with the yahoo profiles. You would think that they would have had that done as part of the overall migration of the yahoo photos to flickr.com. They also had the somewhat failed Yahoo 360 profiles that they did to compete with the MySpace's out there and the Yahoo 360's were supposed to take over the standard Yahoo Profile but that seems to be on the back burner as well. The Yahoo Messenger blog is a decent place to look for more info and updates that is directly from the staff at Yahoo Messenger. http://blog.messenger.yahoo.com/blog/ Lenny Vasbinder FREE and automatic online remote backup of your documents, photos and files... https://mozy.com/?ref=SY4ZSI Check out how simple and secure it can be to use the Mozy remote backup system. I have a question about the yahoo profiles format. Does anyone know if Yahoo does have plans in the future to fix the picture problem.? It appears no one can upload a photo or take a existing photo off of their profiles, since they closed down yahoo photos in Sept of 2007. If there are not any plans for the members to be able to upload any further photos, then I would think that Yahoo should at least revamp the layout of the profile page, and take the photo section off completely. Any thoughts? Winter Blessings, Kathy No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
