I think 99% of the add-ons that people put in their facebook or myspace
pages just turns their pages into a bloated mess. Half the crap is just
that... crap... and my firewall and security software and hosts file blocks
a bunch of it so all I see are blank boxes with a message that IE couldn't
download it. The basic websites are pretty safe but once you start all the
add-ons, then hackers know how to get in through security glitches in the
add-ons and many people lose their profiles and passwords.

...but a "Lenny" question. I recently created a facebook account, and one of
the options was to join "webfetti" to spice up the page. I declined because
I thought this could open up my pc to spyware and junk I don't want. Should
I accept it? or leave rejected as is. In other words, do you know if this
website is safe?
