I haven't seen a lot of Blackberry users with Yahoo Messenger out here. You
might also want to try a Blackberry user's forum. Do you use Yahoo email as
your main email address with your Blackberry? While I have a Yahoo email
address, I do not use it for any of my main email addresses since Yahoo's
spam filters are not very good. I'm not sure if that is the problem you are
seeing with alerts going to your BB when you get spam in your inbox. You
might want to try Gmail as I find they have some of the best spam filters
out of any free or paid email service. Heck, many ISP's are now starting to
partner with Gmail as the ISP's email provider since it's easier than the
ISP trying to provide all the tech support, spam filtration, etc.
