This is functionally identical to my reading a message using Thunderbird and
then deciding to forward it to somebody else. The fact that fetchamil does this
without a user sitting in front of it is irrelevant - it's an MUA. (And if you
want an even closer parallel, compare fetchmail to an MTA that suports Sieve
redirect.)
That should have been "MUA" in the last sentence, not MTA.
