Hi Vinod, https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-8270 seems to create some issue for the downstream projects in NonHA case. I will try to get it in for 2.7.1 if everyone agrees to remove IPC level retries only in case of NonHA for *create() *request.
