Hi folks, Currently multiple of our customers seeking the way to leverage ATS, but bumping into some problems.
I can see the following gaps making some difficulties: - JHS has no REST API for extracting logs like the ATS has. Users would like to extract logs through an API, but currently JHS does not expose REST API, only through the UI. If we could add the same API to JHS as well, then it will be easier to migrate the endpoints, using the same requests. - MR related information can be extracted more easily from JHS. Also I'm a bit uncertain whether all of the metrics that is available in JHS can be extracted from ATS as well. I can think of an additional change that would enable ATS to provide MR related data in a similar fashion as JHS does. Something like a metrics provider interface probably. I'm asking your input on this. What do you think about the mentioned problems and the solutions? As a general question: what do you think how can we ease the burden of adapting ATS? Is there anyone who has experience regarding this issue? If there are folks who are using ATS is production: I was wondering whether you could provide some details about how you extract MR job related information from ATS.
