Sorry for the delay and never mind to give comments at any point of time...
what i meant was not just add *"umask(0027)"* but kind of revert the solution
of YARN-5287 and to add *"umask(0027)"* to solve the original issue for which
chmod was introduced.
Attached the patch and it would be helpful if you can test it.
Have not added test case as YARN-5287 have already added it
