[~haibochen], is your comment a general comment on what that method is doing,
independent of this JIRA? If so, I think that is correct. It must be a bug.
Today there is no caller for that flavor of the {{store()}} method, but we
should still fix it. Do you mind opening a new JIRA to fix that? Have you
checked other {{store()}} methods to see if there is any other similar issue?
