Daniel Templeton commented on YARN-6301: ---------------------------------------- Thanks, [~Tao Jie]. You're on the right track, but I'd like to be a little more explicit. A queue with weight 0 will not receive resources as long as there is demand from any other queue. A weight-0 queue is often called an "ad hoc queue." > Fair scheduler docs should explain the meaning of setting a queue's weight to > zero > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: YARN-6301 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-6301 > Project: Hadoop YARN > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: fairscheduler > Affects Versions: 3.0.0-alpha2 > Reporter: Daniel Templeton > Assignee: Tao Jie > Labels: docs > Attachments: YARN-6301.001.patch > > -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.15#6346) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: yarn-issues-unsubscr...@hadoop.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: yarn-issues-h...@hadoop.apache.org
