YunFan Zhou commented on YARN-6898:
-----------------------------------
[~Naganarasimha] Thank Naganarasimha, I think it is very useful here. Because
we treat all machines which label same node labels as a virtual cluster in our
production cluster, so we always found that our production cluster is very idle
but our virtual clusters are very busy. And we sometimes should add some
machines to the node label if the overall load of these machines is relatively
high.
If we want to see the overall load of all the machines which label same node
labels, we have to see all machines of the label. This is very inconvenient.
So I think it is very important to display total used resources of each label
in scheduler page.
And I also think this feature is very useful for others.
> RM node labels page should display total used resources of each label.

>
> The RM node labels page only show *Label Name*、*Label Type*、*Num Of Active
> NMs*、*Total Resource*
> information of each node label, but there isn't any place for us to see the
> total used resource of the node label.
> The total used resource of the node label is very important, because we can
> use it to check the overall load for this
> label. We will implement it. Any suggestion?
