[~rohithsharma] One of the test failures, testGetEntitiesConfigFilter does not
have any Tag involved. This has been some changes made in this patch, e.g. Tag
-> ArrayBasedTag, I think as long as Tag semantic does not change, we should be
OK. Hopefully, we can quickly resolve the test failures and confirm that.

rather than doing conditional compilations.
Right. I wanted to surface the HBase regression first, and then add the
conditional compilation. Hence, the name wip patch. I don't have any experience
with conditional compilation. Do you have any pointer in hadoop, hbase or the
like for me to learn from?
The many dependencies added are indeed required by hbase-2 version. I plan to
add comments in the official patch.
