Thanks for the review, [~miklos.szeg...@cloudera.com]. AFAIK, only NUL isn't 
allowed on modern Linux systems. I've updated the regex to be more inclusive. 
Note that we still need a delimiter and I don't think NUL would be a good 
choice, so a colon, the current delimiter, also isn't allowed.
