[~jianhe] The {{AbstractService}} has {{failureCause}} and {{failureState}}
fields that are set via {{noteFailure}} method when exception happens during
init, start, stop. Seems to me that we can use {{failureCause}} in
{{ServiceScheduler}} to set the appropriate diagnostics message.
Please let me know if that sounds good to you.
