Re. the UGI issue, you can change RMApp.createAndGetApplicationReport() to take
in the incoming UGI or user-name. That way you can avoid the exception
altogether.
Patch looks fine overall to me otherwise. But a little nervous given the past
week's commits. Can you update the JIRA with any manual tests? If
MAPREDUCE-5475 is ready, I can give it a try.
