Thanks for sharing details. I am trying to find the need of this comparing to
YARN-3813. YARN already has a application lifetime controller introduced in
YARN-3813 and with that we can set life time of application and also in queue
level.
Also this could be set in application itself by using *yarn application
-updateLifetime <Timeout> -appId <appId>*
