Thanks for the comment [~pbacsko]!
I would rather keep this as it is. Using the immutable type in the definition
of the methods informs clients that the can't modify the collection.
It would be dangerous to use Map instead as clients don't have a clear
indication of immutability of the collection and if they modify them, it throws
a runtime exception.
