This does not look like a complete fix since this can happen at any store
operation. We probably need to either 1) configure dfs client to do proper
retries upto a certain period of time or 2) wrap around dfs client and make
sure that the wrapper keeps retrying until a certain amount of time has elapsed
or some fatal conditions have occurred.
