in hadoop 1.1.1, the ${hadoop.tmp.dir} is a hdfs dir
recently, i upgrade my hadoop cluster from 1.1.1 to 2.2.0, on official
yarn-default.xml configuration page. the property 'yarn.nodemanager.local-dirs'
value is ${hadoop.tmp.dir}/nm-local-dir, but i haven't seen this dir in hdfs. i
see it in the linux local /tmp dir.
so is this a bug?
