Ah yes, the rename. But is there a case that this is a "blocker bug which is
critical from an operational, security or data-integrity perspective" (to quote

and thus also deserves to be in what is now 2.2.1? It's a clear regression on
an already-fixed-bug, and there seems to be something in 2.2 causing it to be
tickled more frequently, which is making it an operational problem (at least
that's what we're finding).
