Steve here are few comments on the documentation -
Section: *Setting the Zookeeper Registry Base path: hadoop.registry.zk.root*
- In this section, it will be good to see {{/registry}} inside a code block.
Also line 2 and 3 could be merged into a single simpler line like - The default
value of /registry is normally sufficient.
Section: *Identifying the system accounts hadoop.registry.system.acls*
- Point 5: I think you might have meant "To aid portability {color:red}of
this{color} setting...".
- In this section the 2 code blocks which provides sample values of
{{hadoop.registry.system.acls}} and {{hadoop.registry.kerberos.realm}} should
be wrapped inside <property> elements, just like all the other similar
snippets. The opening <description> elements are missing too.
It might be helpful to give a sample path that will get created under the root
in zk registry (for a sample application)? Like for slider we have
{{/registry/users/yarn/services/org-apache-slider/cl1}}
