[~cnauroth], thanks for your comments. Unfortunately, some class paths are 
passed via bootstrap shell scripts. We require platform-independent 
representations of path separator since YARN apps doesn't know what platform 
before they run. Does it make sense? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
