Li Lu updated YARN-4061:
------------------------
Attachment: FaulttolerantwriterforTimelinev2.pdf
I put some thoughts on this issue and got some suggestions from [~vinodkv].
This is the design doc of this writer. Any comments and suggestions are more
than welcome.
Right now one issue we'd like to decide is, shall we start with a pure file
system based logger, or an HDFS based logger? I incline to the latter but would
like to hear more comments. Thanks!
