Sorry to respond back late,
IIUC reservation is currently only supported for Default label and not for
other partitions. (refer AbstractCSQueue.canAssignToThisQueue &
LeafQueue.canAssignToUser) I have raised a jira for it YARN-4588. Once we
support reservation for other partitions we can address this issue until then
it will not be applicable.
