+1 to the idea [~chris.douglas]. Agree that it would simplify some design
choices we make for modification to the {{ContianersMonitor}} and
{{ContainerManager}} side for YARN-2877. Would love to help out with this (I'd
even volunteer to take a first crack at it since it directly impacts our
Distributed Scheduling work)
