state information to ATS until this application finishes. And by default, the
YarnApplicationState in ATS/AHS is ACCEPTED. Let us fix this separately.

Yes. From checking code of RM ATS updating event, I am surprised that we are
actually not keeping status updated between RM and ATS. This sounds like a big
problem and shouldn't fix in this JIRA. I just bump up YARN-5029 to critical
and we definitely need a fix there.
Given we decide to separate this issue out, I think v5 patch is in good shape
now.
