Thanks [~ajsangeetha], this patch looks good to me, except for a few comments:
1. We need to add periodicity to REST API as well.
2. REST API changes will need a corresponding change to the documentation.* You
can take a look at YARN-4683 for details.
*It might make sense to add documentation of this API when the feature is code
complete, similar to what was done for YARN-4340.
