Sorry I'm confused, so apologies if this is obvious to everyone else. Was the
original data posted to the JIRA not possible in practice? If it is possible
then it seems critical to not skip deleted files or risk severely
under-reporting the memory usage of a process in some cases. If it's only not
possible because app-specific cache code was changed then that should not
influence how YARN does accounting since ideally YARN should not be making
app-specific assumptions.
