General issues
---------------------
* Meeting minutes (save Novell/SUSE internal issues) should, besides results@,
go to public yast-devel@ as well

* openSUSE project will participate in Google Summer of Code. If you have any
idea for GSoC project or if you're willing to be a mentor of some, please add
it (and yourself) to ideas page: http://en.opensuse.org/Summer_of_Code_2008

Libzypp & pkg management
---------------------------------------
* Media backend: ejecting CD/DVD from specific drive: UI support in
y2-packager is now ready, zypper is WIP (FaTE #120298)

* 'zypper source-install' and 'zypper build-deps-install' are now united
into single command. User can opt for installing either the source RPM or
build dependency RPMs via commandline options

* jkupec intends to work on experimental libzypp CIM provider in his ITO,
implementing at least basic functions such as show installed pkgs, or install
pkg

* Miscellaneous zypp bugfixing (jreidinger is a quick learner :) )
 - more verbose output when modifying repository
 - better exception throwing if external program called from libzypp fails
 - improved repository type (susetags vs. yum) probing

* ncurses package selector refactoring is almost finished

* Repository manager can now be run directly from package manager (it is a new
menu option) - implemented in Qt and Gtk UI frontend, ncurses will follow
soon. See also: http://lists.opensuse.org/yast-devel/2008-03/msg00048.html

Bootloader features
---------------------------
* Update of boot section when installing/updating kernel: yast writes
only "dummy" boot sections, kernel post-install script is available to
populate these dummy sections during installation (FaTE #302660)

2nd stage of installation
---------------------------------
* The purpose is to get rid of 2nd stage of installation (after reboot)
entirely, or make it as non-interactive as possible - moving interactive
steps to the 1st stage and configure the rest automatically using proposed
defaults

* Kicking it out entirely is not possible, as it is needed by autoyast

* Some automatic configuration can be done by running y2base in chroot env. at
the end of 1st stage, but there are still some issues (network, or CUPS
restart hangs,...)

Miscellaneous bugfixing
---------------------------------
* Fixed yast2-restore's part of autoyast
* Installation of add-ons and related registration of new products in SLED
ThinClient
* product-creator - improved determining of bootable/base product (bnc#368580)
* L3 escalation: udev rules file is not generated in 1st stage of instalaltion
in SLE10 products -> network devices switch their order after reboot
* enable adding unconfigured network ifaces to the bridge
