Migration to SP (for SLE11) --------------------------- Migration path for SLE11 has been discussed, details of the migration must be solved in advance (before SLE11 is released). Bootloader ---------- The testsuite in perl-bootloader has now about 150 tests, many bugs have been found and fixed. Support for Trusted GRUB is work in progress (see http://trousers.sourceforge.net) ui::Selectable in pkg-bindings ------------------------------ Pkg-bindings will use ui::Selectable objects instead of direct access to the pool. This will fix some problems with selection of the right package to install and it will also unify the behavior with other zypp based tools (package selector widget, zypper, suseupdater). Network configuration --------------------- Resolving of the local name to 127.0.0.2 in /etc/hosts is now configurable in the control file. It will be enabled in SLED and openSUSE, disabled in SLES. NTP configuration ----------------- Propose NTP by default during installation (fate#303520) Applied Netconfig patch for fine-grained merging of static and DHCP-supplied data (thanks to Michael Calmer). Samba-client ------------ Added option to use WINS for hosts resolution (fate#300971).
