You did not mention the actual fix: using xdg-su -X-KDE-SubstituteUID=true -Exec=/sbin/yast2 +Exec=/usr/bin/xdg-su -c /sbin/yast2 > What consequences does it might have if we changed all desktop files? We would have to resubmit nearly all yast packages.
