To switch your current checkout you only need to edit your .git/config origin remote If before it was [email protected]:projects/yast/web-client.git Now it would be: [email protected]:opensuse/yast-web-client.git To start, create your account at gitorious.org (you can use openID as well) and request to be added to opensuse-yast-developers group. (the best would be to have someone with admin permissions on each location). You have to configure your ssh public keys in your account settings then: http://gitorious.org/~yourlogin The repositories in git.opensuse.org are still accessible, but you can't push to them anymore.
