Hi! Just my 2 cents to this discussion: I think that because of lack of resources, we should concentrate on Amaranth prototyping instead of enhancing current YCP development ecosystem.
Of course, when new ycp code is written, it should follow current style guides and contain testsuites. But I would not invest into new tools.
