But I hope that its code is straightforward enough to modify it. Regarding who and when, I think from my POV who is not important and when should be when enough people work on post SP2 changes. Currently if we all fixing stuff in SP2 it is unnecessary additional work when majority fix SP2 and few people doing post SP2 stuff can create feature branch.
