Dear Comrade Terrence I have just read your posting in which you "Demand" an apology from Cde Castro for using the word nonsense - I think in as much as I agree with the thrust of your posting I equally think Cde Castro owes no one an apology, especially on the question of the SACP General Secretary having been an IFP member.
Cde Terrence, it cannot be correct that we accept people to use our platform to insult our leaders - with our solid conviction to the ideals of a democratic space for engagement we cannot allowe our class enemies to use our own created platform and derail us from our strategic mission of creating a space for us to engage. For the record, Cde Blade Nzimande was never an IFP member - this is further testified by the historical fact that Cde Blade was very close to Cde Harry Gwala - should we then say Harry Gwala was once an IFP member? - because Cde Blade would not be an IFP member and be close to a VETERAN South African Revolutionary like Harry Gwala. In the final analysis, I think we should maintain the disciplined manner in which Cdes are engaging and discourage by all means, any attempt to turn this forum into a platform to perpertuate lies and counter revolutionary language especially against our leaders.
