Comrades, let's take it easy. It is true that there are those elements amongst members of this forum who consistently raise problematic issues, which do not contribute meaningfully to discussions in this forum. However, my observation has been that, in as much as there are those naughty characters who deliberately derail discussions in this forum, there are equally those comrades who are new to our politics and they sometimes raise issues innocently, and we should therefore exercise patience in dealing with them. We can not just be outrightly dismissive, in a discouraging manner, on some of the issues raised. Let us engage and continue to educate each other, and it that way we will all grow politically and develop a true cadre of our socialist revolution.
Yes, we can't allow disruptive elements to cloud our discussions, but we must also demonstrate a degree of political maturity and tolerance in dealing with issues. The rumour against Cde Blade is indeed malicious, but some very innocent comrades, with no bad intentions, can bring such an issue to this forum. It is the responsibility of those who command a clear political understanding of issues, including Cde Castro, to bring this matter to its conclusion without necessarily sounding dismissive to others. And Cde Domza, I might be wrong, but I think the comrade who suggested that Cde Seun was grounded said so on a lighter note, at least that is how I viewed it. There must still be a space for lighter moments in this forum. But if the comrade who suggested Cde Seun was grounded was just being intentionally malicious, then the condemnation will be valid. Concerning the comrade Seun, who wrote that he was not receiving e-mails, and the silly message attempting to start a rumour that Seun was "grounded". Let me make this clear. There are many difficulties about running a thing like this and I am the only one who is doing the work. I have very little time for it. This particular problem of Seun was that his messages were "Bouncing", for some unknown reason. I did not know that, until I got his message. I had to try repeatedly to get into the place where you can see what is going on, and then repeatedly again before the "test e-mail" would go out. It finally went, and now the rest is up to Seun. When he gets that test e-mail he will have to click in the right place, and it may work. Or not. The "comrade" who started the rumour of "grounding" did a very childish and destructive thing. Maybe it was just out of ignorance. Please comrades, don't run away with such ideas, or encourage people to think that there is some sort of mastermind here. I have banned one or two people for totally destructive behaviour, quite openly and transparently, in the last year. I ban the porn-spammers and the rest, whenever possible, and without any fuss. And that's it. Otherwise, I recommend that the group cleans itself through dialogue.
