cde Eliah, chief i read ur article as ur desperately looking for response but u see it's difficult to understand what u want to achieve I mean one would think u want to recruit peoples into structural involvement and participation through provision of bursaries which I thnk it is a willing seller willing buyer. What ever ur proposing here is very much anti revolutionary. u don't want give us an impression that people should remain loyal to our revolution because we provided them this and that(bursaries) and made them sign pledges meaning they owe us and forces believe to believe in our religion of politics. if u recall prior Polokwane Cde Tokyo issued Makana shares to most of our veterans and later on when he was campaigning , he told this cadres : I gave u shares what have they given u? also in America that is the case where organisations recruit by giving out things that rightfully people deserves but not intersested in fully voluntary participation of cdes in their revolution.people must just be volunteers of this revolute and our duty is just to have the ability to convince them by making sure they understand our course nothing else . I mean look prior Limpopo Provincial conference one MEC who was also a provincal secretary of the SACP gave out tenders for road fencing and patching to our cdes with a aim of lobbying and recruiting support and am told cdes across the provinces signed those pledges that I take this tender and in doing so am obliged to support the particular MEC to become the provincial PEC member and also his line up to emerge but during the conference the opposite happened people chosen the veteran of the ANCYL Cassel Mathale and the collective to emerge. Cdes all am trying to say is that revolution needs volunteers. one needs to be an Orator and a Patriot. I know u mean well cde but i think what atleast u need to focus on is that every member of Numsa subscribes to the ANC revolution because like in the PYA u have coconuts from SANDTONS and WATERKLOOFS not liking the ANC politics but being able to lead SASCO in campuses and these poultry breed revolutionaries can even go to an extend of damaging the image of SASCO which subsequently damages the good name of PYA and that of the TRI-PARTITE ALLIANCE by joining forces with opposition parties embarrasing the ANC.same with Unions how do u screen participation of cdes in to COSATU structures is very important. u cannot lead a Numsa, Sadtu, Num, branch that its branch members doen't subscribe to ANC politics. otherwise u might HAVE this people emerging as shopstewards begin to prove to u that they belong to other organizations at their villages and surburbs that are opposite to the ANC. iN saying so am trying to say if members of union subscribe to the whole Tri-partite allince politics ur unlikely to have problems with their families benefiting anything from the Union I mean u wont need any pledging because if ur are leader we belive u start leading from ur family so as I'm son of the unionist i loved the struggle because my father was just not a union but a member and a participant of the tri-partite alliance politics and he made show that from early age of my upringing we as the family well enticed in politics of alliance so that when i get a bursary from the union through him i do not need to sign any pledge i mean i cannot sign pledge of political participation because i got a benefit that will be Nazism as general Vavi outlines. Unfortunately I am not a good Mazaam Zaam(Marxism language speaker) I hope comrades who understant this tool of analysis who respond well in fulfilling manner unto u using the Marxixt tool of analysis.despite i didn't read ur last paragraph i'm just gonna finish up reading article just now. Thank u Commander let's built the society of youth that cares ur on the right track I hope discussions of rthis nature needs be encouraged given the the calibre of today's youth Tshepo Digomo

I understand that we will be recalling Mr Mbeki (NPA Handler),and we will be putting Cde Kgalema,to stand in, come sunday, but plz do consider replying to the matter as well.I have attached it,see below. Numsa bursaries - introduce criteria! I wish to express my absolute gratitude and appreciation to Cosatu affiliated unions' skills development programmes, particularly the political education and the various bursaries that are provided for members and their dependants. I wish to focus however on the latter, notwithstanding the fact that this initiative is “reformist”. My understanding is that education as a whole is the responsibility of the state. However in the current socio-political conjuncture I think it is highly justifiable for our unions to take up initiatives such as these. These initiatives must however be (politically) guided. I wish to propose that in line with our federation Cosatu’s political line of thought of rightfully and progressively aligning itself with the liberation alliance since 1985 that: * the involvement/activism in either YCL, ANCYL, Sasco and Cosas, be included in the criteria that a student must meet to qualify and be liable for a bursary from that particular workers' union eg Numsa * upon receiving the bursary, bursary holders should be made to: - sign a pledge/agreement or a commitment to the liberation alliance. - be obliged to participate in Sasco, ANCYL and YCL once successful applicants arrive on campus. Given the extent to which Sasco is organised it should not be a problem to monitor this. - agree to participate in Cosatu’s 2 or 3 day political workshops, which should be co-ordinated twice a year at a regional level, after the end of every academic semester. Recipients of any support from workers and the poor must be made to contribute in building workers' and progressive organisations' of the poor. If we fail to do this, we are in a situation where the continued feeding of our own monsters will go unchallenged and this will pose a direct threat on our revolution and our goals of attaining socialism, and ultimately communism. To hope that university and technikon graduates will become loyal to our alliance and its respective organisations, simply because they received funding from them is highly imaginary and has on various occasions been proven to be unrealistic. Given the current state of affairs in South Africa, particularly the comedy-showcase in the SABC, the open hostility of the mainstream media to our liberation alliance and its leaders, I think it is high time that ALL our unions consider supporting and funding journalism and media practice students as well. In this way we’ll be nurturing revolutionary media practitioners whose responsibility should include a principled DEFENCE of our organisations and our revolution. Today more than ever before we need organic intellectuals who will (in collaboration with workers) interpret the “law”, “news”, “sport”, “current affairs” and society in general, using a MARXIST perspective. Ever onward to a Socialist world!
