The only policy that the COP has is =93Equality before the law=94 and promo=
ting =93morals.=94 Both of these are enshrined in the constitution. I thoug=
ht Shilowa was criticising the ANC based on these. That would have been bet=
ter, but when asked by Radio702 about the policies of his COP party he said=
these. I don=92t know if =93Equality before the law=94 and promoting =93mo=
rals=94 are policies. This indicates it quite clearly that the COP does not=
have any policy. =0AThey say they are going to have a conference in Decemb=
er, but it is strange that most of the people that will go to that conferen=
ce will not even be members of COP. I know people who say they are COP, but=
they have not even signed a membership form. Or does COP accept verbal mem=
bership, does it have a constitution stipulating on its membership requirem=
ents, or guidelines for leadership and so on. Or maybe these will be allude=
d to in the launch. But meanwhile I am surprised and shocked by people call=
ing themselves members of the COP. For me they are not COP members but symp=
