I agree with you the sms result is not an issue we represent grass roots

Subject: [YCLSA Discussion] Re: 3RD DEGREE OUTCOMES!

Greetings,

Nqaba, was just presenting common sense and general expectations of what
his company or organisation wishes to see South Africa one day. Whereas
Cde Buti was being factual on the role of movement and what movement has
achieved in the past 14 years and so on.

Cde Buti, corectly put it when he made the point about Cde Zuma having
to respect democracy and the internal democracy of the organisation.
Many people would have left the ANC if they were in the situation Cde
Zuma was into. Infact they did now (Nqaba, Lekota, etc).

We can't have youth leaders that will narrow democracy to what they seek
to see and when things happen in the manner they did not envisage, they
argue to say democracy is not practiced. What is democracy? Lenin puts
it to me to say that, "it is a good political shell to hide capitalism".
That to me, finds the link of this democracy that Nqaba is refering to.

Lastly, we can't narrow the outcomes of the show on the number of "sms"
sent to ETV. What if Lekota was seating sipping whiskey having nothing
to do with his capital but just to goi "sms" to ETV. The sms is media
itself and it is the same media mechanism used to discredit the ANC.

Viva ANC, Viva SACP, Viva COSATU, Viva SASCO.
