I agree with you Cde, it is not a difficult matter to lobby within the ANC. The recent developments around his alleged case (its withdrawal) is one positive element. Remember that Cde Ngoako was destined (in a way) to head this institution, until all this hype overtook the process and the centre could not hold anylonger in the ANC.
Sobriety is very critical at this stage of South Africa's development. The socalled democracy that became so fashionable today needs to be managed, and managed very well. We created an outrageously liberal system of democracy that defeats all our intention to liberate this country. The alternative from the massess revolting and stoping to respect these cumbersome system we created, which favours the ruling class and the global imperialists, is to deploy progressive level headed cadres to run these institutions that form this system. The sooner we do away with all these unanswered questions, including the pressure on the president to take action on the arms deal, the better. Then we will remember where we last filed the strategy and tactics of our revolution. Should we fail to do that, our agenda will be determined by Patricia de Lille, Hellen Zille and of late these clowns from Shikota. This year's manifesto needs to be implemented without fail if we are still serious about the confidence our people are giving the ANC. We cannot afford to engage on these non-ending rhetorics. Our struggle is about changing society, not managing failures to improve people's lives.
