I agree with you chief. The Secretary has said a mouthful indeed; like saying he wonders how they will 'cope with so many baboons.' I find such a statement repugnant and gratuitous. The apartheid regime referred to Africans as baboons and it is revolting to hear a leader of a reputable youth movement as ours talking in such a language. Is he trying to reach the level of Malema? I think not. Is he trying to please someone, or the YCL members? But it's quite unfortunate that he's alienating some comrades with his rhetoric. Maybe some amongst us are pleased with such language. It is of no use to wonder how they will cope while your house is not in order. While COPE was busy coping we were waiting at various points in Ekurhuleni for the transport that never arrived. We'd to disperse later. I regretted why I never stayed home and watched the opening of COPE's inaugural congress instead.
