Fellow Comrades
We wish to collectively celebrate continued interest showed by young people to
study and join the public service as police officers.
Today marks another milestone on celebrating the guts worth to be qouted of Men
and Women,Brothers and Sisters who continue to offer their services by being in
the forefront of crime prevention in the country.Police work is not an easy
work.The right to safety and security is a fundamental right our country
continues to embrace.
Through our International work,we learn of challenging experiences of police
who continue to be housekeepers of corrupt and despotic regimes,which should be
exposed and discouraged.
Our young people must take advantage of these opportune moments to join public
service to serve with verve and deligence.
The ANC-Led Government is a envy of many International Countries who continue
to copy our labor laws.The case in point;There is a zero tolerance in SADC
Countries and due recognition of organisations in the police services than
South Africa.Zimbabwe,Swaziland and others should be supported to follow suit.
The advent of the 2010 must leave a legacy of sustainable,and decent jobs as
OUR ANC,OUR MANIFESTO says.
May the spirit of those departed in the line of duty rest in peace.
It is not yet Uhuru!!!!
