Well said comrade,we are not totally emancipated from the claws of our past that is why the struggle should continue and nothing is going to be achieved within 48 hours I am actually very happy that you noted that the best cadres were taken out of the movement to and govern,we will continue marching forward to achieve total emancipation we cannot stand on the side lines where as there are fellow people who are still not getting access to basic services.
AMANDLA "In every triumph there`s a lot `try`: Frank Tyger -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Nndwamato Mutshidza Sent: 18 February 2009 03:05 To: Percy Malatsi Cc: Stephens Skosana; [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: [YCLSA Discussion] Vote SA Percy, I want for the first time welcome you divert views around what the ANC stood for and what it Stand for. I think Erick did justice in clarifying what the ANC evolve over time without shading any of the Principles. I am an ANC cadre not because its a fashion to be one. It is because the same principles that glued the Collective of Matthews, Seeme, Luthule, Mandela, Oliver Tambo and Thabo Mbeki are the same Princiles today. The ANC remain broad in terms of its own Character. Cde Thabo though to seize the moment and direct the ANC away from these same principle of Collective Leadership, Democracy, respect for the Views of majority, Non Racialism, and Non-Sexism and others. One of the fact that we observe towards the last decade was the move of power from the Liberation Movement to State. Hence all the Best cadres were deployed to State in the expense of the Movement.I assume that what other termed modernisation of the our movement. We were asked a Question by proponent of this modernisation as to what type of ANC do we want to see in 2012 leading to 2014? We have not answered this question because we understood it to be mislocated as it assume that the ANC Principles have changed, which is not the case. Lets me start by clarifying what is that we see in Cde Jacob Zuma. You see Branches of the ANC saw a leader who is able to take the movement back to the original principles which were on the verge of being eroded. Branch members saw a leader they can associate with without attaching any stigma (Label) of being identified as Intellectual and assume to have solution to all problems facing people. Branch members saw a humble but descipline cadres who has the ability to Unite the ANC and its Allies around a common idea of a Better Life for All. Remember we have not arrive at that Clarion Call. Hence the Struggle Continue. What you do not see is that the ANC cannot be equated to a homogeneous Team like Chiefs or Pirates. The ANC brings all character in itself that describe and map the Roadmap towards the realisation of this Clarion Call of a Better Life for All. It is this call that people of this Country and citizen of the world see the ANC as the solution provider to both Domestic and International Problems. What you do not see is for to acknowledge what makes you. Your job, school, car, house, and flat you stay in. In actual fact you were not the best Candidate for the Job and that ANC created such space to enable you to be placed. The SABS of today of yesteryear are very different not because there are bright ideas at the Helm of the Leadership but because of the Clarion Call to Transform SABS to represent the diversity of our people and today you are an ANC policy beneficiary. I could go ahead and talk to all the aspect I mentioned that today you enjoy the credit within a controlled framework and the Brainchild of the SACP (Credit Act). All these are the products of the ANC led Alliance. Hence the ANC remain the only viable and strategic organization that talks to issues really affecting the people and some sort of a class. It was ANC led Alliance that is deep rooted in the empowerment principles towards the realisation of the Clarion Call " A Better Life For All". As long as that has not being achieved the Masses will remain indebted to the ANC to lead.
