Dear David I have observed with great interest David comments on this forum, I must say that due to our previous political engagements whether wrong or right. Not also to talk of personalities, but David you know we have vehemently agreed on positions and greatly disagreed to a point where as a young SASCO member at the time I somehow took it personal. That was the learning curve, not say that I will apologise for me those actions. You know what happened in my term as a SACO regional chair JHB. I must say that in my analysis of your recent posting you have talking about trust in the MDM structures. Yes there is a lack of trust amongst Cdes and this is due to the emergence of cope given the fact that the perceived break away group had a position similar to the one you had about ANC presidency prior to Polokwane (correct me if I'm wrong). I must though congratulate your loyal support to our glorious movement, you have stayed true to the guiding principles of democratic centralism which is our guiding principle. Yes is true that people may or are using your political positions to further their narrow interest. The movement more than ever needs people to be in their sober mind in applying or practising congress politics.
We must teach, read and learn everyday those who have a sole intention of raising personalities or cults in our movement. There is no space for praising cults in this forum. For all those who want to divide the MDM structures shame on you. You will be exposed and we are not afarid to say to you go and join your handlers in COPE or stay within but, sizaku khupaha ubolongwe emgqubeni (you will be greatly exposed). I have received calls from comrades congratulating me for saying what I said about myself, my Presidency and the collective/s I led with. The comrades appeared very sincere to me and I accept their positive comments about my posting on the forum. And I’m grateful indeed. However, with your comment two things are very very wrong. And I mean very wrong and distasteful and unnecessary. I need to correct them lest members believe what you wrote. First, nothing in my posting says my job is threatened. It is not a subject, a concern, it is simply not there. As to why you say this only you know. All I can say is that its strange that my job security which is professional public service seems to you; to lie in the hands of a person or people outside the institution I work for; that is institution being government. It’s very strange my comrade of you. How legal would that be, how sensible would it be, how constitutional would it be and how just would it be that such a thing happen in a democracy like ours? Second, nothing in my posting seem to suggest directly or otherwise that I know “SASCO MEMBER”. Therefore as to why you think I must talk to him or her I remain flabbergasted. I’m really shocked that you can say such things. I never want to be the centre of discussion. I don’t think I’m that important. I only made reference to my person only because one cannot separate the previous Presidency of SASCO from me as a person. But it was not meant to be a clarity that I provide about David per se. My going at great lengths to explain my history in the movement was merely to highlight the tasks I was given at each moment since many believe that the revolution starts and ends with them. Please don’t say such things again. You make some of us shy away from such forums. Its embarrassing to say the least.
