I have always believed that such discussions relating to disciplinary
actions and manner of conduct by ANC members should at all times be
guided by our constitution and the code of conduct (ANC constitution).
So if any member of the ANC including the president is found to have
gone against the code of conduct, then proper actions should be taken.
But these processes must be informed by the very same code of conduct.
ANC will not be led by emotions or feelings of certain people within it
but by the constitution. However, it would be up to the leadership to
properly assess the implications, the timing and the sensitive nature of
such disciplinary process. And such process would have to be treated
with care and delicacy as to protect individual rights of our members,
and render them innocent until proven otherwise and probably achieve
unity at the end of the day. Here there issue of to expel or not to will
depend upon the degree of the violation of the code of conduct. For now
let us focus our energies towards assisting the ANC to achieve more than
two/thirds majority.

We should not allow our joy to produce evil thinking. They have plotted
to destroy our president now the trail is over many things revealed. Let
us move forward as nation teach them that disagreement in democracy does
not create enemies. Lets serve the poor than serving jail terms. TM is
still member of the ANC if guilty must be disciplined not expelled. This
would make COPE very strong in real sense. I know others are more
aggresive to call LM suspension from World Bank. Let's us not fight each
other now it over Nxamalala is our only President to lead us 2012
celebration.

Your passionate hatred for the former President does not assist ANC to
move forward in realising its historic mission. This victory for JZ must
allow us to unite and deliver to the mandate of the poorest of the poor
in particular, come April 22. So you can go ahead and insult Thabo
Mbeki, maybe its your right. But one thing for sure, you will never
realise that expulsion, only in your imagination.

>>> [email protected] 04/07/09 8:44 AM >>>
Young comrades of the congress movement should mobilise and lobby for
the expulsion of Thabo Mbeki from the ANC. Much as they many great
things he had personally done for struggle of the people of South Africa
and beyond, his dangerous love for power has made him do such disastrous
things that did not only compromise his person the also the glorious
movement of the masses of the people.

Thabo should be allowed to rot to the political grave he has dug for
himself.

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE ARCHBISHOP OF COUNTER REVOLUTION

Dear Archbishop

I have for sometimes now been paying my attention to your political
comments and statements mainly against the African National Congress
and its leadership with your focus being on the President of the ANC
Cde Jacob Zuma.

As a South African and as an individual who grew up in a Christian
family * I must say, you are an embarrassment to many of us.

Firstly, you made a statement to the effect that you are not going to
vote * as if this irresponsible statement was not enough and now went
on to accuse the ANC of not having the interests of South Africans at
heart.

What worries me most is the fact that you seem to want to be mini God
on earth gallivanting around looking for those you want judge and
punish. Archbishop, to say that the ANC must withdraw Jacob Zuma as
its candidate for the country's presidency is very dangerous and
misleading. I wish the church in general will come out and distance
itself from your silly and moronic statements.

You do not represent, I repeat, you do not represent the holy world
especially of this country let alone South Africans as a whole.

Archbishop you will recall that despite your irresponsible comment
that you are not going to vote, thousands of South African Christians
decided to register as a demonstration of their commitment to the
development of their own country. Unlike you, South African Christians
knows how important it is to exercise their democratic right of
choosing their own leaders and government * it is within this context
that I will argue that you do not represent anybody except the
opposition parties in this country and yourself.

In fact, as a member of the ANC I am ashamed of the fact that you have
always been associated with the liberation movement led by the ANC..

In an interview with Deborah Pata, you were the most hypocrite * even
trying to fa
ke tears, I wish you could have cried as you do not cry
blhave shown overtime that you are a false prophet * at the expense of
our country and our people you are trying to get more awards and
praises. Archbishop according to the Bible only God should be praised
and not liars like you.

To say Cde Jacob Zuma must face trial, to me sounds precisely like
what they said to Jesus Christ when he pronounced that his father is
in Heaven.

Archbishop I am certain that you are familiar with the line in the
Bible that says "Thou shall not judge", now why do you think you are
God, because it is only God according to the Bible who should judge?

You will know Archbishop that there is no court of law in this country
which has found Jacob Zuma guilty of any crime neither has there been
any institution that has proved beyond any doubt that Jacob Zuma is
corrupt, so who do you think you are?

Archbishop, I am equally surprised as to what really makes you make
the noise you are making. If the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA)
decides on the basis of evidence before them, to withdraw charges
against Jacob Zuma * who are you and Helen Zille to argue otherwise?

Perhaps you have like your Mvume Dandala decided to join politics
fulltime * which is obviously your right * but please be free to do so
without wanting to drag the country with you.

It is interesting that you said if asked in New York as to who is your
President you will be ashamed to mention Cde Jacob Zuma as your
President * but who told you that we elect our leaders and government
to please Americans or anybody for that matter?

Archbishop, I sincerely appeal to you as a young person who grew up
within a Christian family that you must desist from making public
statements which are embarrassing to us and our fellow South African
Christians.

For instances on the issue of the Dalai Lama, you again embarrassed
yourself by even deciding not to attend an event because the Dalai
Lama was not going to attend * but seriously now, Archbishop * if for
God'sake a group of people invite Osama Bin Laden to an event and our
government takes a contrary decision in terms of allowing Bin Laden in
the Country, will you protest against the government decision?

Finally, Archbishop * I am making this humble appeal to you and those
who are still in the closet in terms of pronouncing on their political
affiliation to come out in the open as being in the closet is not in
the interest of our country, our people and God.

Blessed are those who do not hide their counter revolutionary agenda
behind collars.
